La Keeta completed her traineeship at the California Family Counseling Center (CalFam), a nonprofit mental health center serving the Los Angeles community.
Her training at CalFam included working with relationship struggles, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and trauma. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has fundamental training in the Gottman method. Since joining Renewed Relationship Counseling Group, La Keeta centers her work with couples in Emotionally Focused Therapy, having completed advanced training.
